While Miracle Timmy prepares for a 2nd round playoff game after passing for more yards in his first playoff game against the number 1 defense than our World Class Top 5 6th year starter ever has in his 4 playoff games, our guy is working on his 3rd 6 of Bud Light… Buuuurp.
The only two teams that I would root against if the Steelers played them would be the Eagles or Patriots. And the Patriots are almost even with the Steelers.
Steelers barely got past the Browns in both games this year. As much as I’m tired of hearing about Tebow, I’m enjoying watching the Steeltown suffer! Ha!
That building is made for comfort, thats why we habe no home field advantage. Fans too busy looking up at that big for nothing screen in the middle of the field, then to actually make the road team uncomfortable
“Okay, we gotta keep this game close. All those Steelers fans will turn off the TV if it’s a fumble recovered by Denver. Find some technicality to say the Steelers still have the ball. Okay? You know who pays you, right?”
Denver D forced a TO and Denver’s O had at least an easy 3 points. Instead Pittsburgh gets the call and a TD. That’s at least a 10 point swing simply because of the Ref’s.
he shined. wondered if the scouts were watching him. I didnt think he’d b a star though. shows what good coaching can do for a team. they’ve kicked out quite a few N.F.L’s lately.
line kept ben clean for 3-4 seconds, Ben rolls out to buy another 2 seconds, then launches the ball downfield to a pretty well covered cotchery who manages to hold on with a db batting at the ball the whole way.
That was a championship play right there. And of course it happened after a missed pick
You don’t think it’s possible a young QB, who’s won games, took over a 1-4 team and took them to the play-offs and is having a nice first play-off game taking the Steelers to overtime, you don’t think there’s any chance that guy starts next year??!!
No chance that, like most young QB’s,Tebow shows some improvement in the offseason?
This is a league that gave Ryan Leaf, JaMarcuss Russell and Vince Young chance after chance. I can’t get my head around how you can think Tebow, who’s shown much more potential on the field than those guys, won’t ever get a run again. Not sure what you’ve got against this guy.
As I’m writing this he just threw an 80 yard TD to win a play-off game in overtime. 316 yards passing, 2 Td’s. 50 yards rushing, 1 Td. No turnovers. I think he’ll get the start again next week bigham hahaha :)
A guy who is efficient and doesn’t turn the ball over game after game has to be recognized as an NFL-quality quarterback. He’s not Brees or Brady, but Fox’s teams have never won by throwing it 60 times a game.
And Tebow has not even started a full FL season of games in his career.
There’s still plenty of time for him to improve. Don’t understand why people don’t seem to be able to get their heads around that fact. He’s young, he’s committed and has a great work ethic. He’s likely to improve over the next few years. He’ll never be Manning or Brady but he could become a McNabb type. Nothing wrong with that.
to fail miserably too! Personally I don’t care one way or the other, but anyone that win games as a QB and never break 150 yrds passing won’t last long… this is a fluke year and though I wish him the best I just don’t think the Tebow trains going to run that long.
Never breaks 150 yards? He threw for 300+ and 2 Td’s today against the leagues #1 D in a play-off game. Then he added 50 rushing and 1 Td too. All evidence points to him improving as a passer.
WHO SAYS HE CANT THROW SCREW ALL YOU TEBOW HATERS!! AS;DLJFLASKJFKJ;ADFHOI;AEWOJF;ASKDJF;LJDLKJCA;LKFJA;LFA;LJDFL;JASD;JLFAIJWOEF;JIAOJFL;ASDF;LASF;JAWOEFJ;LASF;LAS;FLJAS;LKFASDJFLKJF. rant over.,
But I think Ham and myself were just trying to prove a point that its ok to Troll but its not ok to curse. Both are against the rules and for good reason. But the Trolling is just not policed.
But Rena is right too, its a guarantee to get his comments deleted.
Trolling is a lot harder to judge though whereas language is easy. One man’s troll can be another man’s refreshing opinion, whereas an F-bomb is an F-bomb regardless.
You’re telling me we’re the Pittsburgh freaking Steelers defense and even with 8 defenders in the box we don’t have faith to defend a simple run? We’re so scared we have to sell out and put all our safeties at the line of scrimmage?
that got the second pick and was 1-4 when he took over and has made them legitimate playoff contenders. did you watch the game? this is a serious question because he was great tonight.
You know what? People can say what they want about him within
the rules of the board. I don’t see you jumping all over the troll to defend Romo, and you’re apparently a Cowboys fan. I personally don’t care about Tebow and find the obsession within him boring, since there are lots of other good people in the NFL who don’t get or demand that kind of attention for their faith or charitable work.
Like I said, if you don’t like it here, you can always go by the Broncos board and spread some positivity instead of getting nasty over here.
and i can say whatever i want to the people who talk down on him
and thats because he’s a troll i’ve never seen that is clearly just trolling. im not being nasty im just stating my opinion.. maybe somewhat aggressively but its still just my opinion
Right, your first post telling people to screw themselves was lovely.
I’m sure Tebow would be disappointed in that kind of talk, right? Whatever. I don’t much care either way. I’ll say it again, if you’re that invested in Tebow, you should go over and congratulate his fans.
i just got the impression that he in insinuating that the broncos got lucky or divine intervention. i was just saying the luck was leaning to the steelers
I like the guy. Have since Florida. I have a lot of respect for that kid. I hope the crazies that run the NFL and the other crazies employed by the NFL don’t corrupt the kid.
Well, I never have, personally. But I get what you're saying.
Honestly, I always had faith in the kid (no pun intended). He works hard and has the heart of a champion. Sometimes, that can mask or even circumvent holes in someone’s skill set.
Fortunately they are 0-3 in their last three playoff games. They have a good chance next week, but then again they’ve had moments where they looked mortal the last two weeks against bad teams.
I want the Giants to beat the Packers and then hopefully the niners lose to the Saints and then the Saints Trounce the Giants like they did earlier in the season (Oh, and that game would be in NO by the way, again…). I hate the Steelers and I hate the Packers and this would give a 9-7 team the 29th pick in the draft, when they were 8-8 the season prior.
Although all I want is for the Saints to be in the Super Bowl, because then I know I can enjoy it because a team I don’t like won’t be able to win it because they won’t be there (Steelers out and no Giants, 49ers or Packers)
Why not? What have they got to lose… games? Hell they did plenty of that before he got there. I’m not a Tebow fan .. in fact being a Alumni at FSU I had to hate him!!! It was just the natural thing to do. As a pro.. He’s not going to break any records as a QB that much is for sure … may never make the pro-bowl but he’s just one of those guys that seems to win games. Don’t know how but he does. Maybe it’s GOD’s WILL!
Thought #2 on Today: Can we stop pretending Matt Ryan is a great QB?
This guy couldn’t even engineer a field goal against the Giants. He got shut out, zero points, against a weak Giants secondary.
Tony Romo with certainly no better O-line and no better running backs managed to put up a combined 50 points in 2 games against the same Giants defense.
So please, national media, let’s give it up with the Matt Ryan love. He’s a pretty average QB that falls apart under pressure.
He’s matty ice until a defensive lineman gets in his face. Then he’s matty “throw a checkdown so I can keep my face pretty for those anti-acne commercials”
If you told Antonio that while he was sitting on his sofa drinking Bud Lights while watching Timmy Tebow win a playoff game, I’m sure he’d feel better!
Wow. I’ve been a ‘Boys fan for 45 years. I’m ashamed to think that people might think I have the same thin skin whinyness as the people on this board. Shameful.
Every Calvin Hill run, every TD TD, every Roger Staubach scramble, every Too Tall sack, every Bob Lilly tackle, etc. I could watch, I did. I love this team. I wish I could say the same about Antonio. As he watches the playoffs from his sofa…
Being a fan means something… most people that understand the game of football can look at what you said and go… wow every running back we had that scored a TD… to help Staubach… Every Lilly, ToTall, Harvey Martin, Randy White, every Interception from Mel … maybe every Tony Dorsett run.. every Bob Hayes TD every LeRoy Jordan Tackle… it was a TEAM and not the QB, Tony is doing his part you have to add the other parts before we become a team… .better coaching, better running game, better defense. Don’t even go there with that crap because I have been a fan all my life all 45 years of yours.
If I was as thin skinned as the rest of the Romo sycophants around here, that night bother me. Thankfully, I understand where y’all are coming from, and have the ability to feel pity for you.
don’t bother feeling anything for me… not that I care if you do or don’t. You aren’t in possession of anything I could rely on for intelligent conversation.. so I will just leave you to yourself. At least with that you will not have to go above yourself to talk.
I’m not trying to defend this guy but seriously this is getting silly.
So what he doesn’t like Romo? Doesn’t mean he isn’t a fan of Dallas. Perhaps he thinks that the best thing for the team is to rid of Romo. Personally I disagree with him but he’s entitled to think it without endangering his fan credentials. If you think he’s wrong tell him why or ignore him.
Actually, there we disagree. This guy has had one thing to say
over and over, and he’s as insulting toward people as they are toward him. I have no idea if he likes the Cowboys or not, but we do get people here from other fanbases who do this to inflame the board.
I always just sort of think though, what sort of person would go to the trouble just to act the clown? Just can’t imagine why people would bother but I suppose it does happen.
It’s not what he says it’s how he says it… personally if I have an issue with what he says then I have a right to question anything including his being a fan or his knowledge of the game.
Maybe I could get the Oxford Dictionary to recognize a new word. Romophants. Etymology: Texas/Dallas; Noun; Def: Those football fans who refuse to acknowledge that Antonio Romo might have flaws, and worship the ground he throws incomplete passes, fumbles and throws interceptions on. Such a condition has has been recognized as a Psycopathic disease by the American Association of Football Psychiatrists.
I don't think anyone is saying that Romo has no flaws...
but you’re putting him below a QB who has a career completion percentage below 50%. I like Tebow and think he’s got good potential and he had a great game today but if you put them both in Free Agency right this off-season and see who got the most attention from other NFL teams it would be Romo by a landslide. That should tell you something. You’re underselling, quite dramatically, what Romo has done in his career.
Fumbling the ball on the Jets Goal line, throwing 2 pick 6s against the Lions, Losing twice to the Eggles and Lilliputians, overthrowing wide open Miles and Dez at crucial times! YEAH BABY! He played like a CHUMP!, er champ.
The FUMBLE against the Jets DIRECTLY led to the loss. Two pick 6s against the Lions DIRECTLY led to the loss. The over throw of Miles DIRECTLY led to the loss. Meh, I have little use for “fans” who fail to acknowledge the obvious…
the Jets did not score off the recovered fumble.
Megatron catching a hail mary over three defensive backs had a little something to do with the outcome, as I recall.
The defense not being able to hold the Gmen on consecutive drives is what determined that game.
But you can remember it how you want. I will remember it how it happened.
Not tired. And I love being right all the time. = )
Besides, maybe I can reverse troll them into profanity or some other violation…. Any chance to expedite the banning of a troll must be taken.
Complain, cry, jump up and down and scream at the top of your lungs … you will have to deal with him as the QB of the Dallas Cowboys for another 5-6 years.
they can get their….3rd, right? I wouldn’t mind that either. Plus it would be funny to watch heads explode after being forced to watch Tebow “Tebow” with a ring on his finger.
Go Tebow!

kindablue - January 8, 2012
I thought Stern only pulls that BS.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Stern is the master
He doesn’t even try to hide it.
kindablue - January 8, 2012
Didn’t work last year Finals though.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
heck yeah
somebodyquiet - January 8, 2012
dead on kinda
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
WTF!!
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
Thought they couldn't listen to whistles as part of a review?
Rena - January 8, 2012
WOW.
Total crap.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
That could be huge.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
That happened yesterday in the Lions game, Saints got the ball even though the whistle blew.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Wasn't a backwards pass, ruled incomplete pass on the field and review said fumble.
But the whistle blew, so they couldn’t advance it.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Really.
Wow, Denver got totally shafted.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
The side judge had to be blind to not see it was a backwards lateral
The ball went backwards by two yards, right in front of him. See Goodell’s phone call above.
kindablue - January 8, 2012
Such a huge call in the context of this game.
Denver D forced a TO and Denver’s O had at least an easy 3 points. Instead Pittsburgh gets the call and a TD. That’s at least a 10 point swing simply because of the Ref’s.
Poor Denver.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
make up call
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
That was a clean hit
djthumpl - January 8, 2012
hows that not defenseless wr?
thebigham - January 8, 2012
I don't understand that rule
They want you to let him catch the ball then hit him, makes no sense
djthumpl - January 8, 2012
Oh i know
I am jsut going off how its called elsewhere
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Its the playoffs, thats a good no call
as long as he didn’t hit him in the head, good hit in my eyes
djthumpl - January 8, 2012
doesnt matter you gotta be consistent
That is a defensless wr by defintion
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Yeah your right but that rule is trash
djthumpl - January 8, 2012
I know.
thebigham - January 8, 2012

fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
Does this OL look familar?

thebigham - January 8, 2012
I saw antonio B play at CMU.
he shined. wondered if the scouts were watching him. I didnt think he’d b a star though. shows what good coaching can do for a team. they’ve kicked out quite a few N.F.L’s lately.

I wonder if they will think this off season of the rules committee that the rules have gone to far the O's way.
And loosen up some of the rules on the D’s.
Rena - January 8, 2012
who knows
I just want full time refs, that have been really bad this year
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Agreed, they really need to make ref's full time and have some major QC put in.
Rena - January 8, 2012
it shouldnt be that hard
and can we get some younger guys too?
thebigham - January 8, 2012
True, some of them have a hard time keeping up with a full game.

It sickens me to see how many gifts the refs give the Steelers.
slimbig - January 8, 2012
yeah, should have had a turnover at the 20
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
They've been getting those gifts since at least 1975
kindablue - January 8, 2012
right back in it ..wtf, Denver
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
now watch Denver blow it
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
Timmy blew his special power all in the 2nd quarter.
It takes a whole week to recharge it.
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Haha,
I hope you’re wrong though. I would like to see the Steelers knocked out.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
By Tim F*cking Tebow nonetheless.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Houston all the way
But broncos can’t beat Patriots.
I’d want Pitt vs Hou with Hou winning

Just get Tebowed and lose Pittsburgh

But even greater play by the RT
Oh man I want Smith DeCastro c lg Free really bad.
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Me too. Hope it's obv to the team

salas88 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
They were the #1 D in the NFL this year.
Let’s give some credit to Denver.
The Denver O might not be pretty but it creates some unique problems for Defenses.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
esp against a back up DL
And the funny rules for tackling a qb
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Denver has Von miller ONLY playing on third down due to his injured hand...
AND Dawkins isn’t playing their overall defensive leader… Denver’s missing their leading WR who sucks anyways and two starting linemen
Feeling Blue & Silver - January 8, 2012
well said.

Your lack of trust in Tebow is disturbing,

thebigham - January 8, 2012
Denver’s D can beat NE, It’s Tebow’s time.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
I don't think Pitt will beat NE either.
But yeah, more chance then Denver I guess.
Luke. - January 8, 2012

“The Steelers can hold, but no the Broncos. Call something against them, quick.”

fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
The refs should swallow their whistles this whole drive for the BS they pulled earlier.
slimbig - January 8, 2012
I am not unhappy with all the time Denver is chewing off the clock here.
Even a FG puts them up by 10.

thebigham - January 8, 2012
Phil talks to hear himself talk.
I dont learn anything from his broadcast like I do from Aikman or Mayok
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
If Pitt wins, can Tebow be labeled a choker?
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
nah if Pitt wins, it's all
Willis McGahhhhhhhhhhhhhhddammit’s fault
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
But Tebow had a chance to win it there.
Instead missed a throw on 3rd down.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
it wont matter hell never be a starter again
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Huh?
You don’t think Tebow will ever start a game again after today?
That’s crazy. Why?
Luke. - January 8, 2012
Hell be stuck on the broncos
maybe not never but not for a while
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Still not sure what you mean.
Do you really think he’ll never start a game again after today like you said?
Luke. - January 8, 2012
He will not be a starter next year.
That I am sure of.
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Really?
Luke. - January 8, 2012
No chance.
Broncos won’t trade him and Eleway wants his guy
thebigham - January 8, 2012
So Elway is going to bring in a new QB and Tebow gets benched?
Any ideas about who you think they are targeting at QB? Do you think they’ll go draft QB or free agent QB?
Luke. - January 8, 2012
Who knows.
thebigham - January 9, 2012
No, that is Romo's title, no stealing it like they keep trying to take the America's Team title.
Rena - January 8, 2012
nice facemask no call
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
Plus 100
oldtimer - January 8, 2012
yep
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
coverage sack there
foyesboys - January 8, 2012
AB and Wallace
the steelers transition to a high pass team on the fly.
thebigham - January 8, 2012
a la budlight - here we go
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
brown with two damn good catches
foyesboys - January 8, 2012

fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
i hate pittsburgh
yes, im a hater and i dont care who knows it.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
Suisham is crapping himself right now.
“Please scored a TD!” he’s thinking.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
Huge!!
foyesboys - January 8, 2012
3 man rush pays off
foyesboys - January 8, 2012
but how many times did that kill us this year?
Nice 3 man rush with von miller and dumervill
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
and god strikes again
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
I think this is the game Pittsburgh makes up for the Immaculate Reception.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
ELVIS!!
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
How can he get lucky enough to have it bounce right back up into his hands.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Doesn't it feel like that stuff happens to everyone but us?
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
Point.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Denver's D looks tired.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
yeah they cant take OT
thebigham - January 8, 2012
C'mon, take it to Tebow Time....
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
ot
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
overtebow?
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Simms - "Looks like a blitz."
3 man rush…
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
Is it over? I wouldn't give a crap about this game if I didn't need the Steelers to lose.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
LOL, no, it isn't over. Looks like OT.
Rena - January 8, 2012
I loathe rooting for Denver, but I've gotta.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
Okay, not over. Never mind.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
CHAMP’S THE MAN!!
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
New rules for OT in the playoffs.
Not completely sure what they are though.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
If 1 team goes down and scores a FG on 1st possession the other team gets a chance to drive down also.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Correct
oldtimer - January 8, 2012
and if either teams defense scores then thats it.
Correct?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
yeah thatll be a td
thebigham - January 8, 2012
or a safety. that ends it too
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
so if the team that wins the coin toss
scores a td then they win? But if they kick a fg the other team gets a chance?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
correct
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Yes
Rena - January 8, 2012
yes
each team gets one possesion unless a td is scored first
thebigham - January 8, 2012
both teams have a chance on offense
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
A TD ends it. FG allows the other team a chance to score, if they make a FG it goes into sudden death.
oh, and any defensive score ends it
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
HOF play by Champ
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
Champ still has it
Hey T Newman see he’s old too
djthumpl - January 8, 2012
Champ’s one of the GOATS though….
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Yea I know that, but to look like you shouldn't be on the field at all is my problem
djthumpl - January 8, 2012
Refs: GOD WILLS IT!!
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
play the sideline
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
Interesting situation here.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
watch him make it
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
are they seriously talking about a 67 yarder?
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
Hail Mary for it all
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
Can’t her son’s on the other team.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
GOD WILLS IT!!!
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
I guess we get to see the new OT rules
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
they are up^
Each team gets a possession unless a TD is scored.
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Hmmm, watch the Bourne movie I've seen several times, or watch OT? Maybe OT.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
love that movie
but really dont care for Matt Damon
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
No? I like him. :)
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
too bad its jeremy renner now but i guess you like him too
thebigham - January 8, 2012
I like him as an actor
just dont like anything else about him. Don’t like his politics, dont like his baseball team or basketball team or football team. Silly I know.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
I like when in "Team America: World Police" when they make him retar...
Ahem, disabled.
MAAAAAATT DAAAAAAMONNNNN
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Go broncos
oldtimer - January 8, 2012
and he gets sacked...
whys that always happen in Hail Mary situations with 3 man rushes…I know it takes awhile for the WRs to get to the endzone but damn..
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
they blitzed 5
thebigham - January 8, 2012
this should happen more in those situations.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
Broncos will score a TD if they get it first
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
i hope you're right!
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Hail Mary for Tebow?
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
I really don't like the rules being different from the regular season.
If the rules are good enough for the playoffs they should be good enough for regular season games to.
Rena - January 8, 2012
I absolutely agree
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
I'm glad they sort of put an end to the ridiculous rules they had before
but I wish they would allow each team to have a possession before making it sudden death.
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
thats what they are now
thebigham - January 8, 2012
not really
Both teams are not guaranteed an offensive series. If the broncos score a td then its over. Steelers dont get the ball.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
...j
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Just like that.
Rena - January 8, 2012
and there is absolutely no reason for them not to be the same.
Its just dumb.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
itll get changed this offseason if they work
meaning if denver scores a fg first but pitt wins. They will get changed for regular season
thebigham - January 8, 2012
skip bayless had the most logical explanation:
during the regular season, they don’t want to risk the game dragging on too long and messing with primetime TV. it’s an ad revenue thing, I’m sure
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
I am about sick of ad revenue.
All the 10 tons of commercials to pay for the outrageous salary’s.
Rena - January 8, 2012
once again, I'm right there with ya.
And there’s nothing worse than being at the game when the guy makes the “TV timeout” announcement. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
So if they score a FG, it goes on right?
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Yes
Rena - January 8, 2012
GOD WILLS IT!!
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
I hope this happens in the SuperBowl.
OT in the superbowl!
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
Easy for Breesy.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
NO vs NE Superbowl.
Make it happen Goodell, we all know you got the power to do so.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
Brees would win.
No way NE’s D could hold him.
Rena - January 8, 2012
OK, if the team that receives the ball turns it over, and the other team kicks a FG, game over, right?
Since both teams possessed the ball?
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
yes/
bloodyhanded - January 8, 2012
yea
thebigham - January 8, 2012
TEEEEEEEEEEEBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
WOW!!!!!!!!!!
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
Wonder what Elway is gonna do next season.
Still dont think Tebow is the answer for Denver, and neither does Elway. But Tebow has won games, got them to the playoffs, and won it. HOLY CRAP!!!!!
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
At some point
A guy who is efficient and doesn’t turn the ball over game after game has to be recognized as an NFL-quality quarterback. He’s not Brees or Brady, but Fox’s teams have never won by throwing it 60 times a game.
kindablue - January 8, 2012
And Tebow has not even started a full FL season of games in his career.
There’s still plenty of time for him to improve. Don’t understand why people don’t seem to be able to get their heads around that fact. He’s young, he’s committed and has a great work ethic. He’s likely to improve over the next few years. He’ll never be Manning or Brady but he could become a McNabb type. Nothing wrong with that.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
LOL there's still plenty of time for him
to fail miserably too! Personally I don’t care one way or the other, but anyone that win games as a QB and never break 150 yrds passing won’t last long… this is a fluke year and though I wish him the best I just don’t think the Tebow trains going to run that long.
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
There's no fluke years in the NFL.
Never breaks 150 yards? He threw for 300+ and 2 Td’s today against the leagues #1 D in a play-off game. Then he added 50 rushing and 1 Td too. All evidence points to him improving as a passer.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
YEAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH BOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Where is the DIREWOLF F*G now?
Tossing out the broken 51 inch Sony i guess.
Dooud - January 8, 2012
that was easy
GalTex - January 8, 2012
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
Woo-Hoo
Die, Steelers, Die!
kindablue - January 8, 2012
WOW!!!
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
OMG
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
And Tebow put the throw on the money
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
I still want to know if Tebow has passed his entire season's passing yards today.
Rena - January 8, 2012
And there you go. Nice job.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Blue light special, isle 2, towels.
Rena - January 8, 2012
asle
Rena - January 8, 2012
lmao.
You’re terrible! hahaha
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Wondered if anyone would get that.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Its all about the OL
thebigham - January 8, 2012
Plus 1 million. The saints , giants, broncs are protecting the Qb
Big need for us to compete
oldtimer - January 8, 2012
I am officially on the Tebow Arc. Wow.
slimbig - January 8, 2012
as in Noah's Arc?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
Yes. Join us brother.
slimbig - January 8, 2012
LOL, i thought you guys only take people in pairs?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
lmao! nice one
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
What a terrible way to end a season...

Eff you, rapist quarterback
And all the calls that went your way.
I love it when the Steelers die a devastating, horrible death. Love it!

Yall dont think this game will be an all timer do you?
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
You've had a great career Mr. Ward
But i believe your time as a Steeler is over.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
who'd of thunk it
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
did you cringe?
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
you sure didnt
Dooud - January 8, 2012
Thats why they changed the rules, for the team to actually go for it, not play for the FG

Tebow >>>> Romo
LOL! Questions?!?!?!?!?
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Stop it
djthumpl - January 8, 2012
I thought the game was fixed, how did Denver win?
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012

Do the Tebow Dude!
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
No thanks, he is a bit young for me.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Yes, i have one question
Were you dropped on your head as a small child?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
I Think Romo
Just belched. He just finished his second 6 of Bud Light on his sofa while watching Tebow win a playoff game…
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
and that proved that paul
refresh page… sigh trolls 100 Btb 0
thebigham - January 8, 2012
We'll see.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
really sad isn't it Ham?
It was worth a try though.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
The guy may be annoying...
but dropping F-bombs and mofo’s everywhere doesn’t improve the situation.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
Gets it all deleted.
That said, just everyone flag all his comments as a troll. Maybe, just maybe they might consider banning him.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Ahhh, was that the logic?
Ok.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
You're right Luke
But I think Ham and myself were just trying to prove a point that its ok to Troll but its not ok to curse. Both are against the rules and for good reason. But the Trolling is just not policed.
But Rena is right too, its a guarantee to get his comments deleted.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
I was wondering about that.
Good strategy! haha
I was going to say something, but figured you two should know better! lol
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Yep, we know better.
Pretty childish on my part too. Oh well, movin on.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
Sometimes it just feels good.
Rena - January 8, 2012
I see your point Paul.
Trolling is a lot harder to judge though whereas language is easy. One man’s troll can be another man’s refreshing opinion, whereas an F-bomb is an F-bomb regardless.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
In his case, however, it's glaringly obvious
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
If he wins another one, I agree.
Dooud - January 8, 2012
GOD WILLS IT!!!
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
There it is!!
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Tebow That!
You Romo Sycophants!
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Nobody feed this troll, please.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
You know, most of us here were probably going for the Broncos
What’s your point? You won a wildcard game? Act like you’ve been there before.
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
hes a "cowboy" fan
thebigham - January 8, 2012
He is a eagles fan tolling in disguise. Ignore him.
Rena - January 8, 2012
UFB
you got to believe LOL
That was an awesome pass … for once … but this game should have been over before they even went to OT
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
horrible call by Dick
thebigham - January 8, 2012
yep, sold out on the run and got TOASTED!!
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
Wait, Elway was on the sideline!
He is interfering!
Rena - January 8, 2012
i better see an ESPN poll
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
thatll be called passion and trying to help a young QB
yehti - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Irresponsible Steelers Playcalling
Cover-0 run blitz against a 2WR set? All they have to do is throw a 7-yard slant and it’s an 80-yard TD.
Blue Eyed Devil - January 8, 2012
yup
thebigham - January 8, 2012
If I was a steelers fan I'd be livid
You’re telling me we’re the Pittsburgh freaking Steelers defense and even with 8 defenders in the box we don’t have faith to defend a simple run? We’re so scared we have to sell out and put all our safeties at the line of scrimmage?
Dumb play call.
Blue Eyed Devil - January 8, 2012
tell me about it. I live with one.
Stupid call esp with the new rules
thebigham - January 8, 2012
epic playcall fail.
a real head scratch-er there
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
I'd be happy my team made it to OT
it should have been over in the 3rd quarter with that fumble that the whistle blew dead.
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
Wow...God must have some down time or something
with the miracles he’s giving the Broncos.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
you act like the broncos were the ones who were getting the breaks all night
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
How many games have they won right at the end or in OT since Tebow became the starter?
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
whats that got to do with tonight?
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
forget it.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
you just cant admit that tebow has led a team
that got the second pick and was 1-4 when he took over and has made them legitimate playoff contenders. did you watch the game? this is a serious question because he was great tonight.
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
We get it. You love Tebow. I'd suggest you go over to the Broncos board
and congratulate them.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
i just want people to stop crapping all over him.
its frustrating that people just dont want to admit that maybe he can play QB. you figure cowboy fans would know better (all the hate on romo)
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
ive never said a negative word about Tebow
I think people are on guard tonight because there are certain trolls that are saying he is better than Romo.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
understandable
and by no means am i saying he’s better then romo im just saying he can play QB. people like DW that just will not admit it is annoying.
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
You know what? People can say what they want about him within
the rules of the board. I don’t see you jumping all over the troll to defend Romo, and you’re apparently a Cowboys fan. I personally don’t care about Tebow and find the obsession within him boring, since there are lots of other good people in the NFL who don’t get or demand that kind of attention for their faith or charitable work.
Like I said, if you don’t like it here, you can always go by the Broncos board and spread some positivity instead of getting nasty over here.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
and i can say whatever i want to the people who talk down on him
and thats because he’s a troll i’ve never seen that is clearly just trolling. im not being nasty im just stating my opinion.. maybe somewhat aggressively but its still just my opinion
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
Right, your first post telling people to screw themselves was lovely.
I’m sure Tebow would be disappointed in that kind of talk, right? Whatever. I don’t much care either way. I’ll say it again, if you’re that invested in Tebow, you should go over and congratulate his fans.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
lol i was jazzed up if you couldnt tell
if your getting bent about what i wrote in all those caps then i apologize it was ill advised. didnt mean anything by it
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
I'm not jazzed up. You don't really affect me one way or
another. I’m explaining that people can say what they want about Tebow within the rules of the board, however much you might complain.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
and im just saying what i want about them
but enough of this pointless back and forth. agree to disagree
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
Well, no. You can talk to people here within
the rules as well.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
um....look at what chrome wrote
If you don’t know what winning games in OT has to do with tonight then you should go back to the second grade.
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
no i see what hes saying i watched the game
i just got the impression that he in insinuating that the broncos got lucky or divine intervention. i was just saying the luck was leaning to the steelers
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
The divine intervention is jsut a running joke
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
yeah..
meh im just fired up. your right.
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
why fired up? Tebow won.
When the Cowboys win, no matter how, I’m pumped.
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
Wow.
Great pass.
What’s with the sellout Defense there?
Lebeau has been Tebowed.
bloodyhanded - January 8, 2012
wow that just made me so happy.
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012
I'm convinced
Tebow really is The Second Coming.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Well he's not.
On the field he’s a solid young QB who’s improving.
Off the field he seems a very solid young man with great faith.
He’d be the first to tell you that what you’re saying is inappropriate.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
I hope they give him a friar tuck haircut again.
that was funny
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
+1
Yeah, that was a good one.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
He took it well, too.
I like the guy. Have since Florida. I have a lot of respect for that kid. I hope the crazies that run the NFL and the other crazies employed by the NFL don’t corrupt the kid.
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
DezBryant: I wonder how all the people who criticize Tebow feel? #stupid lol
Jerry Jones first in line lol
salas88 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Dez’s a disciple?
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Jerry didn't hate on Tebow. He simply said he had no interest in drafting him.
And why would he? We had Romo, Kitna and McGee.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Well, we had Romo.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
+ he went 2 rounds too early
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
Im not saying we should of drafted Tebow but I do remember him saying that Tebow would never see the field.
salas88 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
For the Cowboys, true. We had 3 QB's already.
Rena - January 8, 2012
I think it was more along the lines of.
JJ wouldn’t draft Tebow because he wouldn’t see the field playing for the Cowboys…
But I still took that as a slight on the guy…slightly.
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
EVERYONE slighted the guy.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Well, I never have, personally. But I get what you're saying.
Honestly, I always had faith in the kid (no pun intended). He works hard and has the heart of a champion. Sometimes, that can mask or even circumvent holes in someone’s skill set.
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
That and he’s been a very good boy this year, for all I know.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
he wouldn't see the field with Romo
I was going for the Broncos today but Romo is miles better than Tebow.
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
And Tebow's defense is miles better than ours, unfortunately.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
yep, agree completely
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
Oh yea No doubt i would not take Tebow over Romo.
Give Romo a good defense and a descent Oline and you’ll see him make some of his magic tricks as well.
salas88 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Give him the Broncos Oline we would be here right now.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
oh stop already Im getting sentimental :(
We had a chance to be in the Giants position today I knew the Falcons were overrated.
salas88 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Ugh, why are we even talking about this? It just dignifies the troll who wanted
us to pay attention to him.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
you're right fernie fern fern
I should know better. Sigh……….
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
Let's just be happy that the Steelers won't be getting another ring
this year. :)

Oh yeah
Rena - January 8, 2012

Luke. - January 8, 2012
yea how can we block Trolls?
salas88 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Mass report him and hope that eventually someone in power will make a rare banning.
Rena - January 8, 2012
i know they read the comments
are we just overly sensitive about some of it?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
he's overboard with it
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
yes
Baked Potato Soup - January 9, 2012
Tebow threw for 316 yards.
Thats NO COINCIDENCE!!!
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
If you had made betting odds that Tebow would throw for over 300 yards, no one would take the bet.
Rena - January 8, 2012
I actually had the Broncos winning by a TD. Thank Tebow for that 50 bucks.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Nice bet.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
He had a great game, but I’m still sketchy if Denver should stick with him.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Elway knows better
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
Elway knows that if he benches him his fan base will revolt.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Damn straight.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
If JG Doesn't Bench
Our Bud Light drinkin’ QB, I’ll revolt!
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
We need more yeyhoos with picket fences outside the Stadium anyway.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
thank god...........
so you’re pretty much a goner then because that aint happin
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
he'd be a fool
kitten mittens - January 8, 2012

316 yards. Tebow is very open about his Christianity. The most famous verse from the New Testament is John::_
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
Tebow 3:16
I just Tebow’d your ass.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
You are right, I missed it.
Rena - January 8, 2012
did he really get 316 yards?
ScottB1985 - January 8, 2012
He really did.

salas88 - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Hate the whining cheaters
Fortunately they are 0-3 in their last three playoff games. They have a good chance next week, but then again they’ve had moments where they looked mortal the last two weeks against bad teams.
kindablue - January 8, 2012
Pitt out..NY and SF, you are next.
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
No Giants. They can rot.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
There’s still NY, NE and maybe SF.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
I do. No GB, no Pats, no Giants, no SF. Sorta narrows the field for me.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
I purely want to use the Giants
ProBowlFactory - January 9, 2012
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
Such a nice ending to the game, no way I can go to sleep now and it is bedtime.
Rena - January 8, 2012
you go to bed way to early
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
Have to. :(
Sad thing is I put in for a promotion in San Antonio and it starts at 4:30 am, which is 15 minutes earlier than I start now. /cry
Rena - January 8, 2012
If Denver won it all it would not break my heart!
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
Big FU to the skeptics though.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Thought #2 on Today: Can we stop pretending Matt Ryan is a great QB?
This guy couldn’t even engineer a field goal against the Giants. He got shut out, zero points, against a weak Giants secondary.
Tony Romo with certainly no better O-line and no better running backs managed to put up a combined 50 points in 2 games against the same Giants defense.
So please, national media, let’s give it up with the Matt Ryan love. He’s a pretty average QB that falls apart under pressure.
Blue Eyed Devil - January 8, 2012
So much for that Matty Ice gimmick.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
no kidding
He’s matty ice until a defensive lineman gets in his face. Then he’s matty “throw a checkdown so I can keep my face pretty for those anti-acne commercials”
Blue Eyed Devil - January 8, 2012
Adam schein. ---- guess the ice froze himself today
oldtimer - January 8, 2012
+1. I said it earlier today; Romo played the Giants better, and his hand was a mess.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
And the Yuglies.
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
I Bet
If you told Antonio that while he was sitting on his sofa drinking Bud Lights while watching Timmy Tebow win a playoff game, I’m sure he’d feel better!
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Just get Tony a Freaking OL.
And lets start playing Saints style, we can score more than you offense. At least until we can catch up on some defense drafts.
Dooud - January 8, 2012
Imagine That!
TJ Yates and Little Timmy Tebow have as many playoff wins as our Bud Light drinking World Class Top 5 6th Year starter QB. Who’d a thunk it!?!?!?!?
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
You've been reported for spamming. With any luck, your ass is grass.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
OK.
Have you been sitting on the sofa drinking Bud Lights with Antonio?
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Nope, not a beer person.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
The boys upstairs rarely ban people though….
Kevin L - January 8, 2012
Dude
Wow. I’ve been a ‘Boys fan for 45 years. I’m ashamed to think that people might think I have the same thin skin whinyness as the people on this board. Shameful.
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
you mean hater?
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
Trust Me
Every Calvin Hill run, every TD TD, every Roger Staubach scramble, every Too Tall sack, every Bob Lilly tackle, etc. I could watch, I did. I love this team. I wish I could say the same about Antonio. As he watches the playoffs from his sofa…
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Trust you? a troll
DIRE WOLF - January 8, 2012
No one cares that you dont like Romo.
Just that you’re going out of your way to be an ass about it.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
You know Jim... bots
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
A FAN
Description: Someone that stands by their team no matter what. Simple for me to say … you aren’t a fan.
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
Wow
If I was as thin skinned as the rest of the Romo sycophants around here, that night bother me. Thankfully, I understand where y’all are coming from, and have the ability to feel pity for you.
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
look I don't feel pity for you...
don’t bother feeling anything for me… not that I care if you do or don’t. You aren’t in possession of anything I could rely on for intelligent conversation.. so I will just leave you to yourself. At least with that you will not have to go above yourself to talk.
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
You may not be thin skinned, but at least you're thick skulled
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Hold on...
Luke. - January 8, 2012
Actually, there we disagree. This guy has had one thing to say
over and over, and he’s as insulting toward people as they are toward him. I have no idea if he likes the Cowboys or not, but we do get people here from other fanbases who do this to inflame the board.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
His blog page has him a member of BTB's for over a year and with no other teams at all.
Whether we agree with his opinions or not it seems he is a Cowboys fan.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
you can have more than one account
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
I guess...
I always just sort of think though, what sort of person would go to the trouble just to act the clown? Just can’t imagine why people would bother but I suppose it does happen.

TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012

Not that simple. Either way, I don't care if he's a fan or not.
He’s acting like a troll.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
Fair enough.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
Read some of his posts the last week.
They are pretty well copy and paste crap.
Rena - January 8, 2012
Ok, this is the first time I've ever seen the guy post.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
Luke
It’s not what he says it’s how he says it… personally if I have an issue with what he says then I have a right to question anything including his being a fan or his knowledge of the game.
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
On knowledge of the game, yes, I'd agree with you absolutely...
but questioning someone as a fan? It just seems a road to nowhere.
Luke. - January 8, 2012

Bleeding Green would love you!
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
Heh. Good suggestion.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
English is a Living Language
Maybe I could get the Oxford Dictionary to recognize a new word. Romophants. Etymology: Texas/Dallas; Noun; Def: Those football fans who refuse to acknowledge that Antonio Romo might have flaws, and worship the ground he throws incomplete passes, fumbles and throws interceptions on. Such a condition has has been recognized as a Psycopathic disease by the American Association of Football Psychiatrists.
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
I don't think anyone is saying that Romo has no flaws...
but you’re putting him below a QB who has a career completion percentage below 50%. I like Tebow and think he’s got good potential and he had a great game today but if you put them both in Free Agency right this off-season and see who got the most attention from other NFL teams it would be Romo by a landslide. That should tell you something. You’re underselling, quite dramatically, what Romo has done in his career.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
Luke, while I admire what you're doing
you are wasting your breath. You will not get any intelligent argument from this guy.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012

Tebow 3:16

djthumpl - January 8, 2012
Well, if there's any solace in not watching the Cowboys beat the Falcons tonight...
…it’s watching Pittsburgh lose knowing how bad they will be ragged on for the loss. Defensive meltdown against the lightning rod himself, Tim Tebow.

Ragging the steelers on national tv
is against the rules.

Haha!
The Steelers got Tebowed and I missed ALL OF IT! Damn
BrickTop - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Romo vs Tebow... well you gotta admit the guy can win games, Tebow that is
but we have McGee and he out-dueled Tebow and Quinn in pre-season. Lets see if Garrett can play his cards right.
Romo is no winner in Dec/Jan but Tebow and McGee are… lets see them battle it out in the Superbowl… or do we wait for Romo to win in Dec/Jan.
???
scraig - January 8, 2012
Get Romo a defense, then we can have this conversation.
No one other than maybe Rodgers and Brady can overcome our defense.
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
yes - and an OL
are we done the Romo marriage yet? I’m ready for divorce…
scraig - January 8, 2012
did you happen to catch the last Eagles game
when McGee played all but 4 plays?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
You change your tune every other day. I'm starting to suspect there are several
people using your account. One minute you’re supportive of Romo, the next you want him gone and McGee starting.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
no, the irrational are like that
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Not really irrational. It's just confusing. I don't much care either way, as long
as I don’t have to see McGee actually starting. If he does, disaster has struck.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
I can't tell if youre serious or not.
Youre joking, right?
BrickTop - January 8, 2012 via mobile
He's not. He's a huge McGee fan.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
They exist?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
1 does.
Rena - January 8, 2012
I guess
somebody has to go against the grain.
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
yes - and since then Romo has gone 8-8
maybe let him get us to Nov 31st then give the ball to McGee
scraig - January 8, 2012
Romo has? Well, damn, who knew he played every position on the team?
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
McGee should have started against the Giants... Romo couldn't throw deep
scraig - January 8, 2012
You ever seen McGee throw deep?
Ever? Preseason? Healthy hand and all?
TARHEEL PAUL - January 8, 2012
McGee can't do it when he's healthy.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
he can barely do it against backups
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Sorry, I tried... I've supported Romo all year long
I want Danny White back he won playoff games… he won in December… he kept it close in the 1st half and then poured it on in the 2nd half.
Call me when we have an OL and defense that Romo can win with… otherwise I’m on the McGee train…
scraig - January 8, 2012
I think you meant:
Because Romo played like a f%#$@ing champion this year
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
he did - so did Bradshaw late in his career, doesn't mean he was a great QB
chalk this one up to Garrett and Wilson because despite losing down the stretch Romo played well… his best year ever. But the team is 8-8.
scraig - January 8, 2012
Terry Bradshaw is in the Hall of Fame
That means he was a great QB.
Seriously, do you two watch football?
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Heck Yeah!
Fumbling the ball on the Jets Goal line, throwing 2 pick 6s against the Lions, Losing twice to the Eggles and Lilliputians, overthrowing wide open Miles and Dez at crucial times! YEAH BABY! He played like a CHUMP!, er champ.
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
hm. Maybe I should trust your eyeball test instead of Football Outsiders.
Nah, I think I will stick with the people who know what they’re talking about and have a proven reputation within the sport, thanks.
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
YW!
Just curious. What in my post was incorrect?
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Too easy.
those aren’t even real teams. And even if they were, Romo didn’t lose to them. The COWBOYS did.
Simply not true. Quantifying it with mistakes that did not directly lead to a loss doesn’t change the fact that you’re wrong.
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Sigh...
The FUMBLE against the Jets DIRECTLY led to the loss. Two pick 6s against the Lions DIRECTLY led to the loss. The over throw of Miles DIRECTLY led to the loss. Meh, I have little use for “fans” who fail to acknowledge the obvious…
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Better check your box score again, there...
the Jets did not score off the recovered fumble.
Megatron catching a hail mary over three defensive backs had a little something to do with the outcome, as I recall.
The defense not being able to hold the Gmen on consecutive drives is what determined that game.
But you can remember it how you want. I will remember it how it happened.
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Please, please stop feeding it.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
Meh, I could do this all night.
Not tired. And I love being right all the time. = )
Besides, maybe I can reverse troll them into profanity or some other violation…. Any chance to expedite the banning of a troll must be taken.
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Once you feed them they never leave!!!
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
Haha
I don’t even know how to respond to that.
BrickTop - January 8, 2012 via mobile
Their record tells you something...
Romo – 9-13 in starts since 2009
McGee – 1-0 in starts
Tebow – 8-4 in starts
scraig - January 8, 2012
Guess what?
Complain, cry, jump up and down and scream at the top of your lungs … you will have to deal with him as the QB of the Dallas Cowboys for another 5-6 years.
Rex Pfister - January 8, 2012
Yeah...
That IS sad…
Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Seriously
Can THIS guy be banned? He does nothing but say stupid sh*t. It makes comments hard to read when this moron is doing this.
BrickTop - January 8, 2012 via mobile

Jimbohts - January 8, 2012
Go for it buddy.
I didn’t cuss, and I insulted a troll. :)
BrickTop - January 8, 2012 via mobile
I think that's incredibly optimistic.
I think Romo might have 4 years left, but the way he gets injured lately, it may be less than that.
Baked Potato Soup - January 9, 2012
Clown
djthumpl - January 8, 2012
Ok, this is just getting absurd.
Tebow threw for 316 yards.
averaged 31.6 yards per.
head coached named John.
Im think Im going crazy!
chromecowboy - January 8, 2012
He can do what Big Ben can do - in half the passes...
scraig - January 8, 2012
He also had the most yards passed on the Steeler D all year.
Rena - January 8, 2012

Jimbohts - January 8, 2012

PITT, TAKE A SEAT, SF AND NY , YOU ARE NEXT.
fiverings37 - January 8, 2012
Guys...
Pitt’s gone. No 7 for them.
Hopefully no 6 for SF.
No 4 for the Giants.
Then no 5. for the Packers.
New Orleans getting 2? I’m cool with.
DCyanks21 - January 8, 2012
No love for Denver?
they can get their….3rd, right? I wouldn’t mind that either. Plus it would be funny to watch heads explode after being forced to watch Tebow “Tebow” with a ring on his finger.
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
I'm looking at realistic chances here. lol.
DCyanks21 - January 8, 2012
Oh. Well, in that case...
Who Dat!
jakezze01 - January 8, 2012
Houston getting their first seems like the most realistic of them all.
Great Defense, Great OL, Great running backS, and freek WR Andre. What don’t they have?
thebigham - January 9, 2012
yeah, I don't want that.
I don’t like the Texans nor their fans at the moment.
jakezze01 - January 9, 2012
Elite QB.
DCyanks21 - January 9, 2012
when everything else is great
you don’t need a great qb, just a safe one.
thebigham - January 10, 2012
For all the crap that Josh McDaniels took for what he did in Denver...
they just won the game tonight on the back of the QB, WR and a few Olineman that McDaniels drafted.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
He's got his job with the Pats back. It'll be interesting to see who gets the last laugh.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
I think he'll get another HC opportunity at some stage.
Especially if the guys he drafted in Denver continue improving. The chance might even come fairly quickly for him.
Luke. - January 8, 2012
If Wade can get another HC job, anyone can.
Fernie67 - January 8, 2012
HAHAHAHA, YEEEEEEAAAAAH
Get to walkin’ Steelers! GO HOME!!!
