neither this Giants team, nor the one from 07 was that good. Neither were really what you call Superbowl caliber teams

this team has a much better offense

I think the Giants success should be telling us what we need to do in the draft…

Like US they have have bad secondary.

Unlike US, they have a pass rush that collapses the pocket and generates consistent pressure.

This is why I think we should be going D-Line or OLB in the first, not S or CB.

Hey, if they win the Super Bowl, they pick last in the draft.

I’m OK with that. And they have to be the underdogs in their remaining matchup(s), so…given that the Cowboys are out, and the underdog Giants are in, I’ll cheer for the NFC East rep’s. That’s how I see it.

I live around these Jacka$$… I live through 2007 my heart won’t be able to take them winning another SB. If you hang with a Giants fan for just a minute, then you would understand where I’m coming from. And I know hundreds of them. Class will suck, Work will suck, going out will suck. Facebook will suck, My life would just all around suck. So no I DO NOT WANT THEM TO WIN THE SB, I DON"T EVEN WANT THEM TO GO TO THE SB.

Having said that, I don’t know if I would ever cheer for the Eagles in a future Super Bowl. They would have to be playing the Steelers.

I do want Belichick and his fellow cheaters to never win another one, or even go to another one. What a slap in the face to sportsmanship. Not that other coaches aren’t cheating…but I know for sure Belichick did.

If Dallas were smart (and their not) they would sign Osi and switch to a 4-3.

year to year is a very inconsistent player. Some years hes dominant, some years he barely does anything. I don’t know why you would choose him as your answer.

I’d rather have Campbell and stick to the 3-4.

Also, if Bruce Carter comes around, I think we will finally see the versatility of a 3-4, with 7 potential front 7 rushers and some real speed and playmaking ability at multiple linebacker positions.

We will be nowhere close to 7 rushers. We only have a couple right now. We would have to add 5 more front seven guys.

Michael Brockers would help though.

Ware, Campbell, Spencer/ideally equivalent or better replacement at olb, Ratliff, Hatcher. Lissemore and Butler have been decent in limited time.

Add in an ilb with the speed to get to the qb in Carter and I think we instantly have a large number of capable pass rushers. Our ilbs had zero sacks this year (Steelers + Ravens had 4-6), that number will go up next year with Carter.

Theres no reason to revamp the whole D. I think we are one great pass rusher at either DE or OLB from being up there with the elite teams.

The secondary though needs a lot of help I think. But thats not a 3-4 or 4-3 thing.

I cheer for them…sort of…when they are the lone NFC East representatives in the playoffs. And the better they do, the lower they pick in the Draft.

A. I cannot stomach the Giants having another run like this.

B. Ravens vs. 49ers would be a punting contest – no thanks (I’d like to see some form of good quarterbacking).

C. The Niners are 5-0 in the big game and need to have that perfect record tarnished. Plus the Cowboys already trail the Steelers by one and I couldn’t stand them trailing the Niners as well.

I’m a fan of defense and defense wins championships.. BAL has a better chance than NE at beating the 9ers or Gmen… but in the end I can respect SF because they’re a gritty team, with a great defense, and an awesome coach. Same with Baltimore. The Pats are a team that just scores and doesn’t play defense, also Brady is a punk… All I can respect is Belicheck

Growing up, the East was the NFC Beast. The ’Skins, then Giants, then Cowboys!! won all those super bowls in the late 80s and early 90s

That said, it’s clear: I am rooting for the 49ers. And rooting for the Ravens to win it all at this point.

This season has been painful

So of course it would come to the Cowboys biggest rivals playing for the right to go to the SB. I thought i was over that last lost, but I’m back to being depressed. I hope JJ and the right of front office is feeling the same way.

I don't exactly "root' for a team other than the Cowboys.

I make picks for a game and pick the team I think has the best chance to win. I was 4-0 this weekend, so yes, I picked the Giants. I have also picked them to win again next week and also the Super Bowl. I think they have played the best football over the past month of any team in the league. I witnessed some of it first hand against the Cowboys. They are the hot team playing well all around and I think they can beat San Francisco and New England. If I was rooting, I would be rooting against them for sure, but I still think they win.
