Barber touched the ball on 11 consecutive plays (10 rushes, one reception), and Romo kneeled twice to run out the clock. Barber finished with 114 yards on 24 carries and one touchdown, faring much better than he did in a 26-yard performance during Washington's 26-24 win on Sept. 28 at Dallas.
"I worked hard in the offseason and in practice, and I had the energy at the end of the game," Barber said. "When you have guys up front making holes, it can happen."

It's one thing for the Washington Redskins not to register a sack, much less lay a finger on Tony Romo. Or to let their quarterback, Jason Campbell, go down 10 times in the past two home games. Zero pass rush plus lousy protection, after all, usually equals a loss.
But to give a tin-man franchise like the Dallas Cowboys its heart back, to not keep down their rivals right when they appeared ready to fold early on national television? That borders on inexcusable.

Seems the Redskins regulars are not happy about the hordes of Steelers and Cowboys fans who invaded FedEx the last two games:
"No question, fans in blue-and-white jerseys still were all over the place - tailgating, cheering, and enjoying themselves with little harassment - even on a night when Art Monk and Darrell Green received their Hall of Fame rings. They were just a little bit quieter than Steelers fans were two weeks ago.
"The more Cowboys fans here, the better," said Allan Johnson, a Corpus Christi, Texas, native and a senior at George Washington. "I just think it's important for the team to see they have support on the road."
Johnson bought his ticket on eBay for $125 - and did not inform the seller he was a Cowboys fan until after the sale. He was among a throng of Dallas fans that mingled in the parking lots before heading into the stadium."

Excessive? No. Depraved? Don't care. Two weeks ago the gloom was all about this fan nation. I'm happy to see the dark cloud driven to the Mid-Atlantic this week.

As some who went to the game have pointed out
the Skins fans were leaving with 4 minutes left in the game. I find that pretty interesting that Skins fans have the audacity to call Cowboy fans bandwagon fans when they do crap like that.

Im on record
as saying the skins fans were much more cordial this year than last, BUT they were leaving (more like the 2 minute mark that i saw) in droves before the 4th and 1 conversion.
Screw em.
Now, its a great win, BUT its time to move on. As i strutted out into the stadium parking lot, i told my wife its already time for them to start thinking about San Fran.

In fact, I saw a whole lot more Burgundy-on-Burgundy crime than anything else. Well anything else except drunks. Who spends a million bucks on tickets, parking and bad chow and then gets so wasted he can’t get into his car? Daa-yum.

Dallas Fans
There were alot more Dallas fans at this game than the first time I was at Fed E in 2005. It was awesome seeing so many Dallas brothers and sisters there. The best part of the night was walking out of the stadium and seeing the frowns and long faces on the dedskins fans while the rest of us Dallas fans were higher than an airplane!!

Never gets old beating the Deadskins...
My wife was marvelling at the magnitude of hate flowing from me as the Barbarian and the o-line imposed their will and chewed up the clock. I must say, I enjoyed the blog before, and usually just was lurking around, commenting once or twice.
Now, after the merger…It’s even better. Thanks Rafael, Raul, Grizz, Brandon, and Tuna Helper. I don’t know how I made it through as a fan without this blog before. I check it several times a day now, and all you guys do a great job.

i was thinking back in training camp
how much blogging has changed being a fan. there is such instant access to news, great analysis from outside of big media sources, and of course the community. last year this site and BSR already provided that, but now the flow of news, analysis and community interaction is on a level it’s never been before. Now if the Boys can just keep up what we saw Sunday, what a great time to be a Boys fan!
And yeah, man was that 4th quarter satisfying. After like 6 weeks of doubt and lack of confidence, starting to always expect the worst instead of the best, and even a rough start in that game, as the game wore on I got more and more the feeling of confidence back, watching the oline and Barbarian do exactly what they are built to do, impose their will and close out games. And couldn’t have happened to nicer team! not.

Season Saved? Playoffs?
Maybe or maybe not. We still have a difficult schedule ahead. However, it was a peaceful nights sleep and a great Monday after that victory. I do not want to think how I would have felt if we would have lost.
At this point I can only hope that Romo continues to improve, Felix returns, the O-Line can keep it together and the D plays like it did Sunday. If that all happens we could potentially run the table. I think a one point this season people were wondering if we could go undefeated. That will not happen, but Sunday night gave me hope that we could be in the mix during January.
